Road To Redding, CA

Got off to a great start Friday for a 350 mile drive to Redding. Our travel agent gave us a few points of interest along the way.  We stopped at a great little store/café called the Olive Pit.  Good thing we already had lunch, or we would definitely have gone overboard.  Is four jars of olives too many?

Our neighbor friends, Dennis and Diane, were planning to be in Redding for a car show so we decided we would be there for the weekend too.  They own a rare 1969 Custom Sport Coupe Pontiac, which Dennis bought brand new.  Over the last few years he has restored it and just now is showing it.  We headed out early Saturday for this giant show of nearly two thousand cars.  It was a great time and we saw many fabulous cars.

Up Sunday morning, heading to Eureka, CA and up the coast...
